West Ship Management Limited, part of the West Group of Offshore Service Providers, was established in 1987 and the company’s core business is ship registration and statutory ship management.

Under Isle of Man (IOM) shipping legislation, all ships over 24m in length with owners not resident in the IOM require the appointment of an IOM resident statutory manager and West Ship Management Limited can fulfill this function. The company can also act as a Representative Person for IOM registered yachts.

The company has a wide range of ships and yachts under management and in conjunction with West Corporation Limited administers companies that either own or charter yachts and a variety of ship types including chemical and oil tankers, car carriers and cargo ships.
